    Job DescriptionA leading company specializing in engineering, design, construction, and commissioning is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead its engineering team in designing, developing, and executing medium to large-scale projects.

    The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of electrical systems and their application in industrial environments, along with a proven track record of successful project management and team leadership.

    Working collaboratively, the new team member will improve operational efficiency by implementing effective processes and ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications.


    Salary + Additional Benefits:
    $175,000-$200,000 Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance 401K - company match Location: Mulberry/Lakeland, FL Type of Position:

    Direct Hire Responsibilities:
    Design, analyze, and implement electrical systems for industrial projects, including power distribution, control systems, and lighting.

    Oversee the development of project plans, specifications, calculations, and detailed schematics to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

    Lead and coordinate the engineering team, subcontractors, and consultants to achieve project objectives within budget and timelines.

    Conduct system modeling and simulations to predict performance and identify potential issues before implementation, including Arc Flash and IR assessments.

    Ensure all electrical engineering projects adhere to relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as sustainability practices. Manage the procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring technical specifications and quality standards are met. Provide expert technical support and guidance to the project team, stakeholders, and clients. Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into projects. Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.


    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; A Master's degree or higher preferred Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically within industrial or manufacturing environments Professional Engineer (PE) license is required for Florida or Texas Electrical Contractor License is a plus Strong proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP), Procore, and MS Office Suite Demonstrated ability to lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and with clients Due to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
