    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

As a Senior Internal Auditor at PSH, you will actively utilize your top-notch auditing, risk assessment, technology, communication, and organizational skills to carry out various auditing, advising, and investigative projects.

    You will also establish and/or be part of a dynamic team atmosphere, offering you the flexibility and chance to both lead and be guided.

    This is a highly prominent role that acts as a trusted consultant to the business and upholds the highest standards of professionalism and trust.

    Aside from auditing responsibilities, the Senior Internal Auditor will collaborate closely with department and organizational leadership to assist in follow-up, risk evaluation, and reporting procedures, ensuring that the Penn State Health system-wide Internal Audit function is in line with the organization's strategic vision, mission, and values.

    The Senior Internal Auditor will be counted on by department leadership as the face of Internal Audit and an expert in internal controls and related frameworks, including IT.

    This role is also accountable for performing tasks in compliance with established standards and following quality assurance and departmental protocols.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
    • Must possess at least one (1) job-related certification (CPA, CIA, and/or CISA) or making progress towards completing a certification program (to be finished within 1 year of hire)
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
    • Minimum three (3) years of relevant audit experience
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
    • Healthcare Industry experience is a bonus
    • Data analytics experience is advantageous
