    This position will manage Wharton Global Youth Canvas course sites and Catalog system along with a supporting Wharton Academy, support live online programming and business simulation delivery, and manage background check process for all hires in online programs.

    Job Description

    Job Responsibilities
    • Support Wharton Interactive and Associated Simulations
    • Canvas course site management: perform day-to-day admin tasks to manage all active course sites on Canvas, including but not limited to adding/deleting people, assigning sections, adjusting deadlines, managing groups, generating progress report to track student completion data, updating pages, checking broken links, managing Canvas LTI usage, and hosting training walk-throughs to external users.
    • Online program operations:
      o Support live online programming in Zoom. Ensure appropriate student behaviors and quality delivery from the instructional team
      o Support business simulations delivery in online programs. Coordinate with Wharton Interactive and Learning Lab to make sure the sim logistics are smooth
      o Schedule and run simulation trainings with instructors and TAs
      o Work with pre-bacc team to support live Zoom sessions and TA office hours at the beginning of each semester. Notify the Ed Equity team if any technical support or equipment is needed.
    • Background check processing
    • Canvas Catalog management:
      o Set up course listings and create enrollment links on Wharton Global Youth Catalog
      o Send out enrollment instructions for students and teachers, track enrollment progress and trouble shoot account settings
      o Set up promo codes and handle other special Catalog requests
      o Answer help desk cases related to retaining certificates, password reset and other account-related questions
      o Export enrollment report and analyze usage data


    Qualifications
    • A bachelor's degree and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
    • At least three years of experience in supporting and implementing, and online, courses and programs for learners in various domains strongly preferred
    • Proficiency in using various tools (especially Canvas) and technologies for creating and delivering instructional materials and activities, such as authoring tools, multimedia tools, learning management systems, web conferencing tools, etc.
    • Demonstrated ability to provide direct support to learners and instructor in online learning enviroments.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong attention to detail, quality, and deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
    • A passion for learning and innovation, and a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

    Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
