At Augusta University, the Audio Visual Installer plays a crucial role in installing AV equipment for various projects, carrying out tasks under the guidance of the Manager of AV Systems Engineering. Responsibilities include equipment installation, cable management, and system implementation based on provided drawings and local regulations. Additionally, the role involves decommissioning old components, documenting AV equipment, and supporting post-installation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decommissioning and removal of outdated AV components following established procedures
• Installation and testing of AV infrastructure cabling in compliance with national and local codes
• Mounting various AV equipment such as projectors, LCD displays, and speakers
• Assembling equipment racks and wiring as per provided system drawings
• Documenting AV equipment deliveries and ensuring functionality

• Associate's degree in a relevant field with two years of related experience OR
• High School Diploma/GED with three years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
• Ability to securely and effectively install AV equipment following industry standards
