    Building a world-class, consumer-focused caring platform that enables Hallmark's lines of business (LOB) across the enterprise (Crayola, Crown Media, Hallmark Global) to accelerate their direct-to-consumer product strategies

    Developing a Cloud-first, multi-tenant digital platform that provides capabilities and services, such as a unified Hallmark Profile, Product Recommendations, Global Payment services, etc.

    Building, securing and operating digital consumer products for Hallmark's LOBs
    Scaling development capabilities to build for Hallmark's future


    As a member of the DCOE group you'll partner with high functioning, high energy teams of cross-functional disciplines that bring products like and our Hallmark Gold Crown Omnichannel network to life for our consumers.

    With a consumer-first focus this group delivers impactful digital solutions that have a direct impact on consumer brand engagement and retention in the digital space, which results in revenue growth and brand relevance.

    What Your Role Entails And How You'll Contribute


    The Lead QA Engineer works closely with Developers, Product Managers and Delivery Mangers, to create and launch product features that delight our consumers.

    They mentor junior and senior QA engineers and lead and coordinate E2E testing of major programs and take bottom line ownership for the quality assurance.


    Primary responsibilities include both manual & automated QA testing of web-based services/products built by the Digital Center of Excellence working closely with onshore, nearshore, and offshore extended team members.

    You'll provide insight to cross-functional colleagues (e.g., Architecture, Development, Product, UX, Security) about quality assurance requirements and limitations encountered as user experience meets development.

    You will also work with agile scrum teams focused on specific product areas to maintain a high level of quality with a strong QA mindset.

    Basic Qualifications

    The following is required to be considered for this role:

    Bachelors degree or 4 years of professional work experience
    5+ years of software QA experience in Web application/eCommerce/Website testing.
    2+ years of experience in agile/scrum methodologies
    2+ years of experience in a mentorship or training capacity, accountable for growth of entry- and mid-level QA engineering talent
    2+ years of experience leading or coordinating end to end testing and quality assurance of major programs

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience in automation testing of enterprise software systems or websites
    Passionate about the field of Quality Assurance and excited to grow & develop a career within QA
    Deep understanding of Software QA methodologies, tools and processes (like white box, black box, and automation methodologies)
    Knowledge of different kinds of testing and where/how they fit into the overall product life cycle
    High level of proficiency in in testing mobile native and web applications with minimal to no supervision
    Exceptional communication skills to work in a fast-paced agile shop, with an emphasis on active listening, asking clarifying questions with a collaborative culture
    Experience Comfortable working on small, cross-functional, fast paced teams
    Comfortable testing software on mobile devices
    Eggplant certifications on QA Automation are a plus
    Proficient using Postman or similar test harness for RESTful web service testing
    Experience with any version control system like Git or equivalent
    Experience with automation scripting using tools like Selenium Webdriver, Appium or equivalent and proxy tools like Charles or Fiddler are a plus
    Strong ability to troubleshoot and update automation scripts
    Experience with Load testing tools like Eggplant Performance, Akamai, LoadRunner, Azure DevOps or equivalent
    Familiarity with device farm testing (such as BrowserStack) is a plus
    Strong writing skills in order to develop test plan documentation, bug reports and an ability to address multiple communication styles
    Experience working in an onshore-offshore model

    Additional Details

    The salary range for this job is between $100,100 and $135,000. Salary will take into consideration several factors including location.
