    We are currently seeking a Junior Corporate Recruiter who is ready to hit the ground running and join our growing Talent Acquisition team This role is responsible for partnering with HR Leadership to source, attract, screen and recruit high quality professional candidates for employment opportunities within our organization.

    Job Overview:


    As a Corporate Recruiter at Polk, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and selecting top-tier talent that aligns with our company's values, goals, and culture.

    You will work closely with HR Leadership and department heads to understand hiring needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and recruitment process.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with our Senior Corporate Recruiter to define job requirements, qualifications, and skills needed for open positions.
    Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.

    Continuously build a pipeline of qualified candidates by researching sources for top candidates, generating candidate leads and utilizing various search sites to identify passive candidates.

    This includes using non-traditional, "outside of the box" recruiting methods for the hard-to-find candidates.
    Actively network with outside sources (business associations, universities, alumni, industry organizations, etc.) to identify top-tier talent.
    Review resumes and applications, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the role.
    Coordinate and conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidates' technical skills, behavioral traits, and cultural alignment.
    Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing feedback and updates on their application status.
    Collaborate with hiring teams to make informed and data-driven hiring decisions.
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and generate recruitment reports as needed.
    Articulate the strengths, limitations, culture fit, etc. of candidates to Senior Recruitment to develop recruitment strategies and define requirements and expectations. Provide regular progress updates; drive recruitment progression; solicit feedback on candidates and refine recruiting strategy as needed.

    Stay current on industry trends, recruitment best practices, and market benchmarks to ensure our recruitment strategies remain competitive and effective.

    Contribute to employer branding efforts to enhance Polk's reputation as an employer of choice.
    Assist in the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    2-3 years of experience in corporate recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related role.
    Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methodologies.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with candidates and team members.
    Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. UKG knowledge a plus
    Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requisitions, and meet recruitment targets.
    Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruiting and hiring.
    Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding recruitment goals.
    Ability to adapt to changing business needs and contribute to process improvements.
    Interest in assisting with our College Recruiting Program
    Bi-Lingual capabilities (English / Spanish) preferred.
    Experience in the Construction Industry is beneficial.
