    Job Summary
    To provide office support for The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture.

    Possible changes to hours dependent on events that are scheduled during the academic semester.

    Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
    • Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
    • Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
    • Assistance with special projects
    • Seasonal work
    • Emergencies

    AU students are not eligible for TES.

    Essential Functions
    • Receptionist duties, phones, mail, website updating
    • Communications duties to include bulk emailing from school email account, posting marketing materials around campus, and assisting with larger communications projects and tasks.
    • Event support for APLA events throughout the semester


    Minimum Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2 years experience with standard office functions


    Expectation:
    Excellent writing and communication skills

    Desired Qualifications
    • Banner/AU Policy Knowledge
    • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Calendars, etc.
    • Experience with communications and marketing

    $15.00/hour

    Work Hours
    Typical schedule to fall within normal University hours; Monday - Friday;7:45am-11:45am, 12:45pm-4:45pm. (hours may vary)
