    This well known Real Estate/Construction Company in the Hartford area has begun looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team.

    This is an exciting role, and a great opportunity for the right person.

    • HIGH visibility position, work closely with the VP in charge of construction
    • Position with high potential for growth, exposure to different areas in their finance / accounting team
    • We placed their Assistant Controller there last year and she LOVES it
    • CPA's in their office, they hire really sharp people
    • Small team with a family feel, culture matters
    What this Accounting Manager will do:
    • Be involved in the day to day general accounting
    • Strong emphasis on budgeting and forecasting
    • Exposure to cost accounting and working with construction projects
    • Assist AP as needed
    Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Manager:
    • 5-10+ years experience in accounting/finance
    • Blend of both general accounting skills and financial analysis
    • Past exposure to cost accounting is a plus
    • Skilled within Excel and Sage
