    Position Summary:
    Specialist position in the Chargeback Department.

    This position will make sure that all Chargebacks are processed correctly and on time according to Chargeback Department policiesEssential Job Functions:

    Review and post claimsAudit claim creation for accuracyEdit assignment numbers on the AR aging relating to deductions, credits or repaymentsMonthly report of repayments receivedManage Freight Violations logTrain new hires - BackupPoint of contact for questions, issues, research requested by internal Collections departmentSAP testingMonthly assignment reconciliationEnsure damage credits are being handled by each A/R clerkReview and add remarks to Weekly Amazon Claim Status reportCommissions (monthly): Calculate commissions, submit invoices for approval, create commission accrualclaimsPenalty accrual (monthly): Audit claims for blank category or claim reason coding and create true up claims foraccrualJournal entry & Schedule for Spoils reserveFollow up with Operations/Customer Operations for approval of outstanding claimsImpose claim escalation policyEscalate, suggest resolution, and manage ongoing customer issues needing resolutionInnovate or suggest department process/procedure improvements or changesOne on one meetings with A/R clerks to go over workload and progressCreate and/or update Standard Operating Procedures documentsCreate and manage tasks on ClickUp

    Position Requirements:
    SAP experience preferredIntermediate ExcelHigh school diploma is requiredSome college education (especially accounting) preferredMust be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment in an efficient mannerPositive attitude and willingness to learnGood communicator, not afraid to ask questions, follow up and problem solveGood verbal & written communication skills (Writing sample will be required)

    Must be a team player and willing to assist other team members and various departmentsMust be able to recognize and meet deadlines and volume goals (must be results oriented)Must be able to work independently with minimal supervisionMust be able to research, problem solve and identify solutionsAbility to multitask and appropriately prioritizePay Range:
