Position Summary

The Metro cemeteries team is looking for an intern to learn more about work in the cemetery industry. The intern's primary role will be centered around the cemetery program's large collection of historic records, dating back in some cases more than 175 years.
The Historic Cemeteries program administers 14 historic cemeteries that span Multnomah County, from scenic Corbett to the top of Sylvan Hill in southwest Portland. The team provides customer service to people seeking burial services, coordinates events and activities at these sites, and manages contractors' work in the cemeteries.
As the Cemetery intern you will

This position is eligible for overtime and is non-represented. It is classified as an Intern.
