- Exceptional Patient Care: Performs general radiography and mammography. Properly positions patients in order to obtain desired diagnostic results, places protective lead shields on patients, and sets correct technical exposure.
- Administrative Tasks : Performs a variety of related clerical tasks such as retrieving previous films, filing, answering phones, relaying messages, completing encounter forms and scheduling
- Strong Educator: Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
- Technical Familiarity: Performs quality checks on equipment in accordance with department procedure. Produces the highest quality radiographs and digital images with the lowest practical dose of radiation in accordance with procedure ordered.
- Education: Associates degree in Science or equivalent post-secondary education required. Must be a graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiography program.
- Licensure: A.R.R.T. registered and current State license in radiography and mammography.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of clinical internship and two (2) years of post-educational experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Requires a strong working knowledge of radiographic equipment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
