    PAY RANGE:
    $95K-$120K*Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location

    ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    We are seeking a Materials Manager for an outdoor brand based out of Reno. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience overseeing the planning and procurement departments within supply chain. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of materials management, procurement strategies, and inventory optimization.
    Manage a team of planners to develop and implement materials planning strategies, ensuring adequate stock levels for production requirements.
    Analyze demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels to optimize materials planning processes.
    Collaborate with production, sales, and other relevant departments to align materials planning with overall business objectives.
    Manage a team of buyers to procure raw materials and services.
    Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
    Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
    Analyze inventory turnover, lead times, and order quantities to optimize stock levels.
    Develop and implement policies to ensure accuracy in inventory tracking and reporting.


    BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
