    Responsibilities

    West Henderson Hospital is currently under construction and is expected to open in late 4. When it does it will be the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It will be located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. When the hospital opens it will feature:

  • beds
  • A -bay emergency department
  • Surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites.
  • Endoscopy suites
  • Cardiac catheterization labs
  • An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders
  • An interventional radiology/special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders.

  • Job Description:

    The Director of Cardiac Cath Lab Responsible for the -hour management of designated units assuring the hospital meets the established standard of
    care.

    Qualifications

    Shift: FULL TIME DAYS

    Education:

    Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN required, Master's preferred.

    Experience:

    Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience required and a minimum of two (2) years progressive management experience required.

    Technical Skills:

    Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet and database

    License/Certification:

    Current RN license in the State of Nevada

    Other:

    Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

    Note:

    Incumbents in this positon as of 7/1/0 will have until 1/1/2 to meet the educational requirements of BSN.
