Job summary
The Warehouse Clerk position is responsible for accurately entering receipts for all items that enter the warehouse,including internal and external shipments,
into the warehouse management system.
In addition,
this role requires transferring items between warehouse locations,
placing phone calls to purchasing and vendors to resolve shipment variances,
processing return authorizations for orders,
and resolving order discrepancies between shipments and expected receipts.
Skills
- Must be able to accurately count and record inventory levels.
- B basic arithmetic skills are necessary for accurately counting inventory and ensuring that quantities are recorded correctly.
- The person should be able to efficiently manage their time in order to complete the counting process in a timely manner.
