    Overview of Unit/DepartmentCoxHealth is proud to be a Level I Stroke and Trauma Center, and our 800 Neuro-Ortho unit plays a vital role in delivering exceptional care to these patients.


    As a 26-bed unit, we specialize in treating a wide range of complex conditions, including stroke, trauma, and neurosurgical cases.

    Our patient population is diverse, ranging in age from 18 to 102, offering a broad spectrum of clinical experiences.
    The 800 unit is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where each day presents new challenges and rewarding opportunities.

    Job RequirementsEducationPreferred:

    High School Diploma or EquivalentExperienceRequired:3 months experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long-term care setting, EMT, or Surgical Technologist in the past 3 years ORCompleted an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 3 years ORCompleted the "fundamentals of nursing" course with clinical in an accredited nursing program or practical nursing education program ORMust have Missouri CNA License ORMust have MO CNA Appendix AND MO CNA license must be obtained within 120 days of hireSkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExhibits valuable time management skillsStrong analytical/problem solving skills.
