    The Lutheran Home has an opening for a Full-time housekeeper to work in our retirement community Saxony Village. The right candidate should have a positive attitude, attention to detail and excellent cleanliness standards.     Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:

    • Maintains cleanliness in the resident's apartment or duplex.
    • Clean common areas of Saxony Manor.
    • Keep hallways swept, mopped, and/or vacuumed.
    • Empty the trash cans and dispose of the waste in designated areas.
    • Clean public restrooms and restock toiletries as needed.
    • Performs specific daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping tasks as assigned.
    • Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings per policy.
    • Follow proper techniques in the use of chemicals and potentially hazardous materials in the workplace.
    • Ensures a team culture that promotes a safe, fair, and cooperative environment.

    Skills and Qualifications:
    • Excellent customer service
    • Time management skills
    • Minimum age of 18
    • Previous Housekeeping experience preferred
