Job summary
+The Laundry Attendant performs all stages of linen processing including collecting sorting weighing loading ironing folding storing delivering inspecting linens removing ripped or soiled items washing drying cleaning operating equipment maintaining safety procedures ensuring work areas are left clean organized assisting housekeeping with guest room and public area cleaning other duties assigned by managers supervisors.
Responsibilities
+- Inspect linens to remove ripped or soiled items
- Clean dryer filter daily maintain all equipment as trained operate iron as per hotel standards fold linens/towels stock linen carts as required sweep mop laundry floors store linens off floor sort dried articles according to identification number type fold place item in appropriate storage bin deliver stock terry linen in all linen closets housekeeping carts fitness center pool ensure work areas are left clean organized assist housekeeping with guest room public area cleaning other duties assigned by managers supervisors
