    DISASTER RECOVERY GRANT MANAGER POSITION

    D.A. Lamont Consulting Services, LLC (DALCS) is a disaster recovery and consulting firm that helps public, private and non-governmental organizations prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.

    Role Description

    DALCS is seeking Disaster Recovery Grant Managers to join our growing team to support our clients in Louisiana and across the nation. The Disaster Recovery Grant Manager position is a Full-Time position working for DALCS in Tallahasse, FL. As part of DALCS team our Disaster Recovery Grant Managers will work as a member of collaborative team to:

    Collect, analyze, organize, and summarize financial data.

    Analyze data and understand client relationships.

    Assist in the development of federal grant project worksheets to support disaster recovery project data from cost estimating, budgets, audits, and other products.

    Support policy analysis for existing and emerging policy and guidance from FEMA and other federal and/or state agencies specific to grant eligibility.

    Work with estimators and field inspectors to organize documentation of loss.

    Work with State, Local and Federal stakeholders on funding pursuits and reimbursements.

    This position may be required to travel and work remotely.

    Qualifications

    In this role, candidates must have:

    • At least three (2) years of disaster recovery experience in administering grant funding and implementation at the federal, state, or local level of governments.
    • At least one (1) year of consulting/business practices.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite or Gmail Suites.
    • The capability to balance multiple high-priority assignments.
    • Knowledge and skills in Federal grant provisions and requirements.
    • Detail oriented, and the ability to manage electronic files and data.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Minimum education requires an Associates or technical degree or equivalent work-related experience.
    • A bachelors degree or equivalent work-related experience is preferred.

    Experience in one (or more) of the following areas:

    • Accounting and/or Finance
    • Stafford Act Programs
    • Insurance/Adjusting
    • Project Management
