    Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree in Education for Teaching Deaf Students
    • Active State of Illinoisissued Certification in Deaf Education
    • Two years experience required
    • Virtual experience preferred

    Additional Requirements for Virtual Roles:

    • fortable being an independent contractor (1099)
    • Passed basic tech screening
    • Must provide your own liability insurance and be fortable being an independent contractor
    • Must have home puter with high internet speed

    Position Details:

    • Develop Annual Goals for the IEP
    • plete reevaluation reports on munication Assessment
    • Assess students' progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as needed to meet their evolving needs.
    • Provide consultation and training to parents and other stakeholders on how to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing at home and in the munity.
    • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to ensure that instructional materials and environments are accessible to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
