    Summary
    Entry level position in the Engineering laboratory responsible for assisting in set up, tear down, conduct tests, collect data, prepare and review test reports, provide test plans and status reports on production and prototype parts and assemblies of Lancer products.

    Essential Functions

    • Acquiring units, tools, test instrumentation, or parts to be tested

    • Visually inspects dispensing Equipment for variances or unsatisfactory workmanship

    • Set up of part or equipment to be tested, includes plumbing and electrical connections

    • Aid other technicians or engineers in conducting the assigned tests

    • Assist the lab manager in creating and reviewing test plans, diagrams, and test reports

    • Removing units from test area and disposition as needed

    • Acquire data to be recorded - may include such information as test setup, test results, digital pictures, validation results

    • Performs general housekeeping, maintenance, and shipping/receiving functions of the Lab

    • Other duties as assigned

    Knowledge,Skills and Abilities

    • Ability daily to perform all the tasks required as outlined

    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines

    • Ability to follow written and verbal directions

    • Forklift experience desirable

    • Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability is a plus

    • Ability to read and understand electro-mechanical drawings, schematics, and test instruments manuals.

    • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and work in various temperature and humidity conditions.

    • Knowledge of fountain beverage dispensing equipment is a plus.

    • Good communication, verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus

    • Computer Skills: basic MS Office skills, advanced Excel is a plus

    Education and Experience

    • High school diploma required.

    • Ability to speak, read and write in English required, Spanish is a plus

    • Prior experience using hand tools, power tools, and/or standard electro-mechanical/electronic testing/programming equipment required.

    • Prior experiencing assembling and disassembling equipment required.

    • Experience in a Manufacturing environment is a plus.
