    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The HR Business Partner will lead and enable through their 'seat at the functional leadership table' as a colleague who engages in the business and function to enable short- and long-term success. The role will focus on aligning HR initiatives with organizational business objectives. The HR Business Partner will manage the successful achievement of multiple HR deliverables such as talent acquisition and development; employee relations, engagement, experience, and retention; workforce and succession planning; performance management; diversity, inclusion and belonging; all while stewarding our company values and culture. This is a hybrid position working at our Westfield, IN office and from home.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    • HR Business Partner leadership and management of above mentioned, as part of the functional group's leadership team member, to assigned functional groups
    • Communicate HR metrics and/or dashboards, their definition, importance, and progress for each assigned functional group on a regular cadence
    • Build and establish credible relationships with leaders, managers and teams and ensure business acumen of the business and function's, goals, and challenges.
    • Continually and proactively, assess and anticipate HR-related business needs; communicate awareness of needs assessed while also developing solutions that support a good manager and employee experience as well as business/function results.
    • Coach and counsel managers on a wide range of leadership and management subjects, especially on HR related topics such as employee relations and engagement, coaching and development, performance management, training, diversity, workforce, and succession planning.
    • Champion HR processes and function as the primary conduit for access to other HR subject matter experts and/or programs and services (compensation, benefits, employee engagement, performance, learning talent/succession, diversity, leadership effectiveness, culture, discipline, etc.).
    • Facilitate and lead the annual workforce planning and succession planning processes with functional group.
    • Participate in key talent acquisition interviews, both internally and externally, for promotional and new hire decisions
    • Steward of the company's values and culture. Advise, influence and coach to build and enable a diverse, inclusive, productive, accountable, and high integrity work environment.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.
    • Advise on general company policies and procedures. Hold others accountable to comply.
    • Contribute to the high standard of performance excellence for the overall HR department
    • Continually identify opportunities, within HR and within functional groups, for continuous improvement such as increased efficiencies, higher productivity, higher satisfaction, improved experience, or ease of doing business, automation, less wait time, fewer steps in a process, etc.
    • Work with broader HR team on a wide variety of initiatives and projects.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in human resources, management, or business administration.
    • Seven (7) or more years' experience in Human Resources with at least three (3) years' experience in an HR Business Partner role
    • Strong experience in employee relations, talent management, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and engagement
    • Experience in working with HRIS systems, UltiPro/UKG experience preferred
    • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
    • Lean or Six Sigma experience or certification preferred
    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
    • Excellent professional/business written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong trusting relationships to gain support, influence and achieve results
    • Able to relate, persuade, influence, lead and coach employees of all levels in the organization
    • Able to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action
    • Proven ability to manage employee relations in a professional and diplomatic manner
    • Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
    • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
    • Flexible and adaptable to adjust to a constantly changing work environment

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Ability to travel up to 10%
    • Must have valid driver's license and meet MVR Requirements
