    Come join Donaldson Life Sciences team as we expand our portfolio of products and production capabilities The Assembly Technician will closely work with engineering and technical staff to develop procedures and processes for new products.

    Donaldson Assembly Technicians are responsible to efficiently perform all tasks, keep accurate records, follow all procedures and policies, while focusing on first pass yield.

    The selected candidate will have technical and mechanical skills to build and assemble medical components and devices in a clean room environment.


    Job Duties and Responsibilities:
    Assemble medical components and/or devices in a cleanroom environmentAble to perform repetitive work according to set procedures, sequence and paceUnderstand material properties and effect it has on quality and the processParticipate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives in order to enhance production processes to achieve quality and profitability metricsMaintain accurate records to ensure quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable and quality issues can be addressed to assure the quality of all productsPull samples for quality control testingAbility to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importanceFollow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operationsEffectively documents job completion paperworkTrain new team members on equipment operations and work procedures as needed

    Other duties as assignedRequirements:


    High school or equivalentOne year of work experience in manufacturingStrong attention to detailAbility to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions, as well as understand verbal instructions in EnglishBe able to clearly communicate ideas, problems and solutions to all levels of manufacturing management in both written and oral formExperience with hazardous solvent waste containment and disposalExperience with PPE and safety procedures; including spill management and cleanupAbility to handle solvents and other flammable materials responsibly and safelyEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
