Onsite 1-2x per month for training and meetings

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour

Type: Contract-to-hire

Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job description:
Scheduling:

• Maintain 80-85% surgery utilization per surgeon, per facility.

• Ensure >97% accuracy in dropping unused block time within 14 days.

• Achieve >97% accuracy in updating order and appointment statuses.

• Book surgeries/procedures with >97% accuracy.

• Complete preop paperwork/equipment within 7 business days.
Revenue Integrity:

• Verify benefits and obtain authorization with >97% accuracy.

• Upload attachments to patient accounts accurately.

• Complete VOB within 3 days, authorization within 7 days.

• Conduct appeals promptly if needed.

• Ensure >97% accuracy in Payment Plan setup and collections.

• Collect 50% payment at surgery and 100% payment 4 weeks before for Self-Pay cases.

Requirements:

• Must have (2) years of surgical scheduling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Background check required
