Job Description
Alabama State University, Center for Leadership and Public Policy, invites applications to fill the position, CAMMS Senior Programmer Analyst.
This position will provide support for the Construction and Materials Management Systems (CAMMS) and other systems as required in our support contract with ALDOT.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports and provides maintenance services for existing ALDOT software and hardware Develops software code for the Construction, Pre-construction, Financial, Materials and Tests systems to include interfaces and new functionality Participates in technical planning, development; researches and recommends hardware and software for systems.
Collaborates with users to analyze problems and opportunities for efficiencies; understand their goals and initiative and transform them into solution Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants may qualify with one of the following combinations of education and experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, plus 5 years of the required programming experience to include 3 years of experience in systems analysis/design.
Two years of college course work (60 semester hours or 90quarter hours) to include 5 college courses in IT (15 semester hours or 25 quarter hours) of which 2 courses must be in programming, plus 5 years of the required programming experience to include 4 years of experience in systems analysis/design No college course work plus 7 years of the required programming experience to include 5 years of experience in systems analysis/designOTHER SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
