BIM/VDC Specialist
iENG Design is seeking qualified professionals to join our
Virtual Design Construction (VDC)
team. We are a design-build engineering firm with offices in Granite City, IL, St. Louis, MO, and Nashville, TN.
iENG is a stand-alone, independently managed design firm whose creative team members take a unique approach to each and every one of our projects.
Our team is comprised of highly skilled engineers and designers who bring the art of design together with components of science and mathematics to produce clear, concise, and sharp engineering for large-scale HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
Our projects are DESIGNED to be BUILT.We are currently looking for a
VDC Specialist
who specializes in Piping, Sheetmetal, or Plumbing design to join our VDC department located at our office in
Nashville, TN .
Our ideal candidate for a VDC Specialist will be someone who has 3 + years of experience in a similar role.
Primary responsibilities for iENG'sVDC Specialist
include:
Working efficiently with REVIT, Navisworks and BIM 360 Suite software to translate mechanical design (HVAC, Piping, and Plumbing systems) in the preparation of construction documents.
Providing fabrication and field support with coordination design and drawings.
Creating spooling drawings from HVAC Designs.
Coordinating HVAC Designs with other trades in 3D.
Primary Qualification's for iENG's
VDC Specialist
include:
Field experience and/or a technical degree is preferred.
CAD software knowledge including the following: Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Autodesk.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and understand mechanical and engineering documents.
Familiarity with BIM standards and guidelines.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong work ethic and ability to work well with both a team and independently with minimal supervisions.
Ability to work within an environment with deadlines, and when tasked with multiple duties your attention to detail stays consistent.
