    Clinical Director of Crisis Response and Prevention Team (CPRT)

    CPRT is the Westchester County Crisis Response Team.

    They provide telehealth and in person crisis services to people who are referred from a variety of sources including the Crisis phone line, 911 diversion, the Suicide Hotline, SVH programs, and outside facilities.

    The goal of the team is to provide services that help to de-escalate a crisis, prevent hospitalization, and connect to ongoing mental health supports.

    The Clinical Director of CPRT works in collaboration with the Program Director to ensure that the clinical operations are of the highest quality.

    The Clinical Director serves as the clinical leader to the interdisciplinary staff of the program.

    Key attributes of the Clinical Director are strong clinical skills including client engagement, diagnostic assessment, and recommendations for treatment modalities, flexibility, leadership, and willingness to participate in all CPRT activities.


    Job functions include:

    • Conduct program rounds, staff meetings, and internal trainings for the team.
    • Provide clinical guidance and supervision to CPRT team members.
    • Performs diagnostic assessments for individuals across the lifespan. Assessments will be done in the community, at SVH or via telehealth. Assessments are comprehensive, responsive to the needs of the patient, and reflect best practices including assessment of risk level.
    • Ensures collaboration with family members and other individuals or agencies involved in the patient's treatment.
    • Documents fully, accurately and in a timely manner in the medical record.
    • Participates in continuing medical education activities and demonstrates knowledge of his/her specialty area.

    Licensure Required:
    New York State Medical License Required

    American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Eligile

    Valid Driver's License


    Educational Requirements:
    Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)

    Graduate of approved psychiatric residency
