- Collaborate with the POS Development Team to understand features and technical implementation.
- Establish quality-centric methodologies and metrics for driving the quality of software development.
- Collaborate with Business partners to develop test plans and test suites that approximate real-world environments.
- Generate robust test strategies to include test plans, automated test cases, and user acceptance tests.
- Utilize automation practices to perform black box, grey box, and white box testing.
- Conduct thorough and ongoing evaluation of testing tools and assist with their design and implementation.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Description
The Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer will be responsible for leveraging industry standard tools in the development of significant test cases to ensure the functional operation of Murphy USA's mission-critical Point of Sale (POS) systems. This position will work closely with all members of the QA, Development, and Deployment teams and be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Technical degree required in such disciplines as Computer Engineering, CPA, etc, plus 5 years related experience and/or training, and 2 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
