    The Senior Director of Finance of this high-growth division is responsible for up-leveling the accounting & finance functions, building out financial analysis, controls, and business reporting processes.

    This individual will be the finance leader of a high-profile division within a top-tier PE-backed organization and will have exposure to cross-functional leaders, Corporate executives and to the equity sponsor.

    Key Position Responsibilities
    Upgrade Accounting Operations and Internal Controls
    Develop sound accounting and financial reporting procedures and improve internal controls.
    Manage day-to-day accounting processes and achieve a timely period-end closing process.
    Manage Quote-to-Bill business cycle in a project and services environment, ensuring timely invoicing and cash receipt from customers.

    Ownership of General Ledger and timely account analysis and reconciliations, including deferred revenue, customer deposits, fixed assets, appropriate accruals and prepayments, and oversight over banking activities.

    Maintain a strong internal control environment and utilize best practices.
    Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, corporate accounting policies, and federal and state laws.

    Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sales and Operations
    Act as a key partner to the Divisional General Manager, highlighting opportunities to improve profitability.

    Work with Business Development and Project Management Teams to develop and maintain a robust revenue tracking system that monitors actual and forecasted performance and also supports profitability analysis.

    Develop a commercial and financial case for all Capital Expenditure requests and prepare PowerPoint presentations for significant investments requiring Board Approval.

    Work with the Continuous Improvement team to drive business performance.

    Participate as a key member of the SAP Project Team representing Finance and ensuring system and process designs support accounting and company reporting requirements.

    Manage and develop a high performing Finance team
    Mentor a team of 3-5 finance professionals
    Communicate team objectives
    Maintain a strong team environment

    Internal reporting

    Responsible for the timely preparation of financial statements and reports, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow statements, and ad hoc reporting.

    Responsible for supplying reports and analysis to functional departments and supporting them in managing/controlling spending and maintaining profitability.
    Monthly reporting of results to Corporate.
    Develop and manage the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process for the Division to support planning and decision-making.

    Cash and Working Capital Management.

    Qualifications
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
    Bachelor's Degree (B.S. in Finance or Accounting preferred). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and/or MBA desirable.
    7-10 years of experience in Accounting, Finance-related field, with deep understanding of manufacturing.
    5-7 years managing accounting and finance functions.
    Excellent oral and written communication is required to communicate with the team, peers, management, and external contacts.

    Excellent technology skills, including proficiency with Excel and a strong working knowledge of SAP (SAP Preferred), database applications and other Microsoft Office Products, such as Word, Project and PowerPoint, ERP systems experience is required.

    Ability to grow into a larger role within the organization.
