    TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Head of Engineering- US located in Atlanta, GA.

    Responsible for building a world-class engineering product support department that delivers best-in-class products while managing and directing the assigned business unit.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    • Serves as a key member of the management team that sets the department's strategic direction.
    • Develops and directs procedures and methods to ensure engineering process are highly effective, followed and maintained.
    • Directs engineering resources to assure collaboration, efficiency and optimal
      utilization.
    • Provides oversight of the engineering R&D planning and project execution to minimize performance duplication and maximize performance of the highest value projects.
    • Provides oversight for the execution of key support projects.
    • Conducts reviews of cost, schedule and technical performance on selected engineering support projects.
    • Determines staffing needs for the product support area.
    • Ensures strong alignment between business priorities and product support priorities and facilitates excellent communication priorities within and across departments.
    • Initiates and drives change to improve effectiveness and efficiency of department.
    • Performs strategic planning.
    • Product Design (Design of Operation Excellence)
    • Ensures Quality Assurance is maintained.
    • Provides problem resolution.
    • Executes product design to meet company objectives and standards.
    • Partners with management team to ensure effective product support.
      Develops systems and controls to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Develops and directs procedures and methods to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
    • Oversees continuous improvement programs and operation excellence.
    • Manages engineering budget.
    • Manages product design from design to execution meeting quality, schedule, scope and budge requirements.
    • Builds, develops and manages engineering team capable of carrying out needed engineering initiatives.
    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration or relevant field required.
    • Master's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred.
    • Ten or more years' experience within the field of engineering or industry related
      environment required.
    • Six or more years' experience in a leadership role managing people required.
    • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
    • Demonstrated experience with problem analysis and problem resolution.
    • Demonstrated technical skills in engineering management, Six Sigma, quality assurance and costing.
