    Description

    The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Sales Representative is responsible for sustaining and uplifting OEM sales. He/she is responsible for increasing the OEM sales volume through outstanding customer service, proactive outreach to potential customers and management and growth of current accounts.

    Essential Functions:

    • Overall accountability and ownership of OEM product sales.
    • Expands awareness of products through interactions with prospective buyers/customers, presentations, and demonstration opportunities.
    • Develops a sales plan that includes opportunity map, target accounts, forecasting, sales strategies, and tactics.
    • Promotes OEM products by providing a contribution on advertising and literature.
    • Maintains the OEM product's competitiveness by recommending an effective pricing program.
    • Negotiates agreements, provision of customer merchandise training, and customer product assimilation support.
    • Provides exceptional sales support and produces leads through attending trade shows. He/she must be able to appraise the sales' status and be able to identify the competitor's edge and their strategies, recognizing new market opportunities and foreseeing the success of the OEM products.
    • Makes a comprehensive comparison between monthly sales and the goals that have been set. Thus, coming up with the necessary actions to correct or maintain the strategies that have been applied.
    • Evaluates product performance by extracting customer's feedback, providing quality feedback to internal teams, such as Product Management.

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline strongly preferred.
    • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably focused on commercial products, compressed air, and/or related industries.
    • Experience, in the industrial market, selling to industrial OEM's.
    • Experience in tracking customer sales information, forecasts & reports using related software applications.

    The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to:

    • exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives
    • identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities
    • develop and maintain effective business, sales, and marketing plans
    • implement and follow BEKO's sales processes
    • Technical/professional knowledge and skill required; engineering background highly desirable.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills required.
    • Strong computer skills required, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a consistent travel schedule, approximately 50%.
    • The successful candidate must be able to attain excellent knowledge of the assigned products in order to increase the salability of the OEM products that he/she is representing.
