Description

• Proximity Requirement: Selected candidate must reside within two (2) hours of the client's Headquarters in Woodlawn, MD
• On-Site Commitment: Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site at least 2 days a week.

Position Description:

• Design and create software applications based on functional requirements.
• Collaborate with experts to develop innovative UI designs and Web components while staying updated on technological advancements for better solutions.
• Implement Graphical User Interface (GUI) using technologies like HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, jQuery, Angular, and JavaScript.
• Create Web Page components compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
• Build Microservices using .NET and RESTful architecture.
• Participate in data analysis, manipulation, database design, programming, and implementation.
• Utilize Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools for version control, build, and deployment.
• Develop templates for Behavior Driven Development (BDD) test framework and unit test cases.
• Document solution architecture using tools like MS Project, Visio, and IT Governance Frameworks.
• Contribute to technical discussions/design/development meetings and enhance code quality/process.
• Influence functional strategy by developing new solutions that position the client competitively.
• Provide guidance and support to junior/mid-level developers.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a .Net Developer.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

• Strong C# development experience
• Proficiency in .NET 8 (Including .NET core and .NET framework)
• Experience with Web Services and Security
• Knowledge in Relational Databases, Entity Framework, and SQL
• Expertise in Unit Test Frameworks
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented programming
• Experience with Agile development practices

• Address application defects across all components
• Author, review requirements and user stories, and provide status updates
• Communicate effectively with management, customers, and team members
• Mentor interns and employees
• Perform other assigned duties
