    Regular, Full-Time, Limited-Term (not to exceed thirteen (13) months in duration), RCUH Non-Civil Service position with the Hawai'i Substance Use Professional Development (SUPD) initiative under the University of Hawai'i at Manoa Thompson School's Department of Social Work Continuing Education and Professional Development (CEPD) program, located in Honolulu, Hawai'i.

    Continuation of employment is dependent upon program/operational needs, satisfactory work performance, availability of funds, and compliance with applicable Federal/State laws.


    Duties:
    Develops, provides, and coordinates online and face-to-face training opportunities.

    Coordinates and executes the day-to-day logistics of training operations including, but not limited to, trainer recruitment, scheduling and moderating trainings, event planning, online training management and support, and evaluation report generation.

    Provides trainings that meet certification and accreditation standards for substance use professionals (e.g., Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC) and Certified Prevention Specialists), social workers, and other professionals, in topics including, but not limited to, substance use ethics, confidentiality, HIV/STDs, and other relevant areas.

    Reviews and approves proposed trainings for substance use professionals (e.g., CSAC, CPS, etc.), social workers, and other professional continuing education (CE) credits.

    Serves as the primary point of contact for training related inquiries and trainee concerns. Helps identify emerging professional and community stakeholders and engage them in training opportunities. Coordinates and provides support to trainers, including orientation, onboarding, and train-the-trainer opportunities.

    Supports the creation of training curriculum materials and maintain files, data, and other documents in an efficient and timely fashion, in collaboration with team members.

    Facilitates the administration of program and training evaluation materials for each training, and participate in overall project assessment and evaluation activities.
