    Job Overview
    Southington Finance Team is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Manager to lead our financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and regulatory compliance.

    Responsibilities
    * Prepare statutory annual and quarterly statement schedules, including gathering information from data suppliers and consolidating responses, in accordance with statutory accounting principles.
    * Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data reported in statutory schedules.
    * Research and ensure compliance with all NAIC and state department of insurance regulatory reporting requirements as deemed necessary.
    * Provide summary and analysis for intercompany balances related to the AmTrust group.
    * Prepare ad hoc journal entries as they arise.
    * Prepare technical balance sheet reconciliations for the team to review, investigate and resolve differences.
    * Generate support and analysis in conjunction with requests from internal and external auditors, including a bridge from GAAP to STAT balances with reasoning for variances.
    * Ability to research requests from upper management and communicate findings in a timely manner.
    * Perform various analyses and reach out to responsible parties with recommended corrective actions to make appropriate adjustments to ledgers and statements.
    * Liaison with other Corporate areas (Controllers, GAAP Reporting, Management Reporting, Investments, Regulatory Reporting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A).

    Qualifications
    * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
    * Minimum 5+ years professional experience in financial reporting or financial analysis with knowledge of accounting, including insurance industry exposure.
    * Proven technology-based skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    * Ability to analyze and problem solve financial data.
    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all levels.
