    Description


    My client, a 200+ bed healthcare facility located in TN in the middle between Nashville and Knoxville has a need for Ultrasound Technologists to join their team.


    This position is responsible for working directly with patients and physicians, performing a variety of specialized sonographic procedures while providing patient care and patient safety as established by department standards.

    This position is responsible for performing a variety of dependent and basic secretarial, clerical and housekeeping functions such as customer service, examination and work area cleaning, telephone communications, computer system data entry, information retrieval, (HIS, RIS, PACS), and infection control.

    It requires independent judgement and initiative while operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment, preparing exam rooms, and keeping the ultrasound department stocked with supplies.

    We have 2 open Full-Time Sonographer positions (shifts below). The pay range is $30.00-$40.00/hr., depending on experience as to where they fall at within the pay range.

    Need to have peripheral vascular ultrasound experience

    Dayshift with varied days

    We also offer a sign on bonus or loan forgiveness with a 2 year contract post orientation (with terms):

    2+ years experience- $7,500 sign on bonus –OR- up to $3,500 loan forgiveness with a 2 year contract post orientation

    Shift Differentials are as follows:
    $1.15 (if work 4 or more hours between 3p-11p)

    $1.65 (if work 4 or more hours between 11p-7a)

    $3.00 (weekends- if work between 11p Friday night to 7a Monday morning)

    $4.00 (holidays)


    QUALIFICATIONS
    Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or Business required, Bachelors preferred.

    Registry Eligible employees MUST obtain certification meeting the aforementioned requirement within 6 months after employment date.

    Each employee is responsible for acquiring his/her own Continuing Education Credits to stay in good standing with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

    Must have hands on scanning experience in a) OB/GYN, b) Abdomen, c) Vascular, d) Endovaginal, e) Small parts, f) Ultrasound guidance procedures

    1 year clinical experience
