VHS is look for a part-time Board Certified Otolaryngologist in Sioux Falls, SDSchedule:
AS NEEDED every Tuesday and Friday between 07:30 AM and 4:00 PM, for clinics, emergent services, and after-hours consultations.
Scope of Work:
The Vendor shall perform the following tasks:
Be present on time for any scheduled clinics/surgeries in the clinic or operating room at the scheduled start time.
Services including, but not limited to: Clinic and Surgical Care, Operative Services, Intraoperative Follow-up, Administrative duties, Consultative services, Medications and Discharge education.
Typical surgical procedures include, but are not limited to: Sinus Surgery, Head/Neck cancer removal, Panendoscopy, Tonsillectomy, Septoplasty, Rhinoplasty, and Laryngoscopy.
Provide consultative services at the patient's bedside if the patient is not ambulatory and in the clinic setting if the patient is able to report to the outpatient clinic.
Provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all Otolaryngology clinical or surgical patients.
Requirements:
License to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia).
All licenses shall be full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states, but whoever have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered.
Provide proof of the following tests:
Provide copy of current DEA certificate.
Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency.
Provide copies of current CMEs.
