    Job Description:

    Responsibilities:
    • Provide general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Manager.
    • Assist the Health and Safety Manager with Health and Safety monitoring activities.
    • Assist the Health and Safety Officer and Manager with the management of fire/tornado safety throughout the buildings.
    • Assist in Health and Safety audits and produce audit reports and follow up any actions.
    • Assist with the coordination and management of health and safety supplies.
    • Liaise closely with the Facilities Management team to manage issues relating to the facilities service provision, and specifically waste disposal, buildings, fire safety equipment, electrical testing and safety audit non-compliances.
    • Provide clerical support to the Health and Safety Manager and Health and Safety Forum.
    • Assist the Health and Safety Manager to maintain and coordinate any online training software and/or processes.
    • Assist in the identification of need and preparation of risk assessments, compliance and training of staff, with particular reference to machine risk assessments and etc.
    • Review, record checks and file as needed.
    • Review relevant safety signage as requested by the Manager.
    • Review and record the First Aid and spill kit provision across local plants.
    • Maintain incident reports.
    • Maintain professionalism under pressure.
    • Great with working with management team and production members.
    Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
    • 2 years or more experience in a similar role is required.
    • EMT experience is nice to have.
    • Knowledge in station Ergonomics.
    • Knowledge in updating station/ robot lock out tag out instructions.
    • Involved in new hire orientations.
    • Ensure mandatory training is completed and turned in on time.
    • Knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Knowledge of OSHA requirements/ standards.
    • Completed OSHA 10 or 30 course.
    • Knowledge completing 8D s, creating corrective/ preventative action to avoid recurrence.
    • Communication skills reporting out incidents/ environmental issues.
