- Utilize chemicals to clean offices, patients'/residents' rooms, dorms, classrooms, schools, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas, and any other areas that may require attention
- Clean light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows, and window coverings.
- Stock and replenish supplies
- Shampoo/clean carpet and buff/polish floors requiring the use of mechanical equipment, as needed
- Change sheets and replenish linens, as needed
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs, as needed
- Drive cart or other vehicle, as needed
- Move furniture and set up tables and chairs, as needed
- Advise management of supplies, equipment, maintenance, and repair needs
- Regular attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- Follow dress code policy
- Attend training as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols at all time
- Implement DRH Standards of Behavior and exhibit behaviors consistent with DRH core values
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Description
Job DescriptionEnvironmental Services Technician maintains the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the healthcare facility. EVS Technicians perform a range of cleaning tasks including but not limited to sweeping/mopping and waste disposal.Environmental service technicians are involved in traditional janitorial tasks as well as proper handling and disposal of biological waste. Environmental service technicians must also refill toilet papers and other paper products to rooms when needed.

Hours: 7am-3:30pm, Rotating Weekends, 80 hrs pp

Requirements
Must have High School Diploma or GED. Preferred 2 or more years of related work experience. Ability to learn and use established techniques for the efficient and compliant completion of duties. Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect. Adequate/reasonable oral and written communication skills. Ability to work well alone and in a team. Knowledge of proper and safe use of applicable custodial equipment. Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance. Ability to work a flexible schedule.
