    Sales Manager

    The Sales Manager is a key-leadership position within Ti. Focused on year over year profitable net revenue growth for the defined territory/product base with a strong emphasis on uncovering and closing new opportunities. The Sales Manager will help their teams Sales Development Representatives, Account Managers, and Account Executives reach their quarterly sales quotas or goals, by providing sales training, performance evaluations and up-to-date product information.

    A successful team member will work effectively leading cross-functional teams, channels, and through difficult situations, to ensure that the sales strategy is executed to meet the agreed yearly budgets. This is a highly visible and strategic position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develops and implements regional business development and sales plans to accommodate corporate goals for the US market.
    • Monitors sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
    • Meets key clients with maintaining relationships in negotiating and closing deals.
    • Directs channel development activities and coordinates sales distribution by developing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
    • Prepares periodic sales reports and presentations showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
    • Achieves marketing and sales objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
    • Strives to exceed operational objectives by influencing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining improvements; implementing change.
    • Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
    • Implements and evaluates advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs, developing field sales action plans with an eye on cost containment.
    • Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
    • Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities, coordinating new product development.
    • Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits, exploring specific needs, anticipating new opportunities.
    • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
    • Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
    • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
    • Presenting the sales strategy to the Senior Management team.
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or comparable experience in the BOPP or flexible packaging industry.
    • 5+ years in Business to Business (B2B) sales experience.
    • 3+ years in Leadership role.
    • At least 5 years of experience with notable accomplishments in Sales in OPP Industry.
    • Demonstrated successful leadership and has influenced accomplishments.
    • Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies for targeted accounts.
    • Proficient in assessing customer needs.
    • Proven negotiation skills/experience.
    • Excellent financial skills and business acumen.
    • Skilled in conducting territory analysis and planning.
    • Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of management on complex business issues.
    • Skilled in preparing professional written proposals.
    • Thorough understanding of product and technical information.
    • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
    • Excellent ability to work as part of a team.
    • Travel will exceed 50%
