- Patrol assigned locations and maintain a high level of visibility either on foot or operating a patrol vehicle
- Access control
- Exclude and remove trespassers when necessary
- Interact with the public in both emergency and non-emergency situations
- Contact and interact with local law enforcement, fire, or EMS
- Respond to reports of suspicious activity
- Report on daily activities and any security incidents
- Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
- Valid Oregon DPSST Private Security License (Armed or Unarmed)
- High school diploma/GED
- Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Work well under pressure and maintain composure during stressful situations
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Be willing to work a variety of shift including weekends, nights and holidays
- Be able to stand for long periods of time without accommodations
