    Responsibilities:

    Our Registered Nurses (RN) in CCU independently provide critical, and intermediate care to adult patients presenting with various medical and surgical care needs. Working with a dedicated team, the Registered Nurse provides evidence-based, high quality care, including patient assessment and treatment, and serves as a resource for other team members.     Qualifications:

    Qualifications:

    • A diploma/degree from an accredited nursing school (a Bachelors degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, or agreement to enroll within six months of employment)
    • A license (RN) to practice in Maryland or the ability to obtain a Maryland license based on timeframe of licensing board
    • One - two years of clinical nursing experience strongly preferred; new nurse graduates considered with practicum, or technician experience in critical care
    • Healthcare Provider-Level CPR (BLS) certification
    • ACLS within 1 year of hire or transfer to CCU
