Job summary
We're looking for someone to join our Public Works team as a Streets Maintenance Worker, supporting the maintenance of streets, rights-of-way, and other public infrastructure.++
Responsibilities
+- Maintain Streets & Rights-of-Way (45%) Patch potholes, remove weeds, clean drainage areas, assist with storm drain and culvert maintenance, and perform general labor tasks to keep streets and public areas in good condition.
- Operate Equipment (30%) Operate light and medium-duty equipment such as dump trucks, backhoes, loaders, sweepers, compactors, and small tools. Safely load, haul,
- Traffic Control & Public Safety (15%) Set up barricades,, cones,, warning signs; provide traffic control in work zones; support accident/spill clean-up;and assist the signs/markingsand traffic signal crews when needed.
