We are seeking a Information Assurance/Security Specialist to support our customer at Eglin AFB in Florida
This vital position will be onsite supporting our client in a cybersecurity test and evaluation environment
It will require an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance

Information Assurance/Security Specialist Primary Duties:

• Responsible for developing and managing Information Systems cyber security, including disaster recovery, database protection and software development.
• Manages security personnel to ensure that all applications are functional and secure.
• Establishes and satisfies information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
• Implements procedures and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards.
• Evaluates the organization to ensure compliance with standards and relevance with industry security norms.
• Protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
• Understands DoD security policies and their application.
• Manages subordinate security staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs

Ensures that security milestones/goals are met

Qualifications Information Assurance/Security Specialist Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree within related field or its equivalent in related work experience
• 4 or more years of related experience.
• 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience is required

• US Citizenship is required
