    Description

    Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, this position will serve as clerical support to the Human Resources department.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    This position's main responsibility is document destruction for the Wichita Falls area, which is housed at the Administration Building. The position is also responsible for general filing to include making file labels and any other routine clerical function assigned. HFC incorporates principles of trauma-informed care throughout the agency, emphasizing cultural sensitivity and a safe and respectful environment for all individuals served and staff. All job descriptions include the responsibility to learn about and implement trauma-informed practices within the scope of work for the position. Reassignment is a condition of employment that may occur at the employer's discretion. Your work location and hours could change based on program needs.

    Qualifications

    Education, Training, and Experience

    Must have High School Diploma or GED. One year of experience assisting with front office work dealing with the public a plus. Must pass and maintain all Center mandated trainings.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written with staff, clients and community visitors.
    • Interpersonal skills for positive interaction with persons who may be emotional.
    • Ability to operate all general office equipment.
    • Ability to follow instructions carefully
    • Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette
    • Ability to perform tasks accurately in sequence
