    Description

    Our client, a well-established and respected accounting and tax firm, has an immediate need for a new full charge bookkeeper. The full charge bookkeeper will report directly to the owner and will be primarily responsible for full cycle accounting for multiple small businesses.

    Duties include:
    • Bookkeeping.
    • Posting journal entries, adjusting journal entries.
    • Trial balance.
    • Producing financial statements.
    • Credit card reconciliations.
    • Preparing and filing sales/use tax.
    • Preparing payroll and payroll taxes (940/941).
    • Income tax preparation: individual (1040), corporate (1120 and 1120S), and trust
    • Other duties, as assigned.
    Candidates for the full charge bookkeeper position should have 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience and a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance, or 5+ years of experience with G/L maintenance and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
