    Win is seeking a Grants Coordinator who is eager to grow within our Foundation & Corporate Relations Team.

    This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 1 – 2 years of nonprofit experience who is interested in learning about grants management and tracking, grant writing and proposal development, foundation relations, and donor stewardship.

    The Grants Coordinator will ensure positive relationships with Win's partners by supporting the Foundation & Corporate Relations team. The coordinator will manage data entry, grant tracking, and coordinate interdepartmental schedules for foundation site visits.

    This individual will also research corporate and foundation grant opportunities, prepare acknowledgments to funders, manage grant profiles, tracks deadlines, and other required documentation.

    The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring general operating proposals and reports are submitted on time with the most updated information.

    Approximately 60% of this position is administrative support for the Corporate & Foundation Relations team.

    This role will report to the Director of Foundation & Corporate Relations and will also support the needs of the VP of Development.

    Key Accountabilities
    Grants Management & Stewardship

    • Maintain Foundation & Corporate Relations Department's grant reporting and proposal tracking systems.
    • Review all organizational information regarding programs to complete funding proposals.
    • Write acknowledgement letters to corporate and foundation funders.
    • Enter gifts and grant outcomes into Salesforce.
    • Ensure Salesforce contains the most updated information on funders and prospects, including accurate grant portal credentials.
    Proposal Development & Reporting

    • Collaborate with the Director to complete general operating reports and renewals.
    • Assist Director and VP with preparation of required materials for proposals and reports.
    • Collaborate with the Programs team to obtain supporting materials required for reporting (e.g., photos, staff testimonials, etc.).
    • Ensure Salesforce reflects deliverables outline in grant contracts and agreements.
    Administrative & Prospect Research

    • Conduct prospect research and track philanthropic trends that could impact funding for Win's programs and monitor news announcements that are potential sources of funds.
    • Identify prospective funding opportunities and prepare prospect profiles to share with the Director.
    • Schedule internal and external programmatic meetings with Win leadership, program staff, and the Corporate and Foundation Relations team to explore prospective and current funders.
    • Organize funder site visits with appropriate program and site staff.
    • Prepare materials for senior leadership ahead of donor meetings and site visits.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Essential Functions:

    • Must be able to utilize a computer for most of the workday.
    • Must use public transportation to travel to Win sites and other related meetings and events.
    • Must be present in the office at least two days per week or as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Commitment to Win's mission, vision, and values.
    • BA degree plus 1-2 years of experience in development for a nonprofit or community‐based organization required.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
    • Experience or interest in grant writing and foundation relations preferred.
    • Experience with grant portals is preferred.
    • Basic knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM database is a plus.
