- Work closely with the Battalion's Operations and Training leadership, course managers, and internal analysts to build and improve the unit training management program and curricular activities.
- Plan and design emerging education and training events, instructor and student materials, evaluations, and alternate learning methods.
- Develop, execute, and assess student and staff training across the 2D INTL BN Unit Training Management Program.
- Works with staff and subject matter experts to identify target audience and specific training needs.
- Coordinate instructional research and analysis on learners and facilitators.
- Develop creative and innovative programs to support institutional objectives.
- Must have knowledge and skills in instructional design theories.
- Must have knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to conduct studies and analyze findings.
- Familiarity in supporting and or collaborating with the U.S
- Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Must possess self-motivation and a high level of discretion to work effectively.
- Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and have a strong attention for detail.
- Master's degree in education, teaching, or related field and 3 years of related work experience.
- Work experience designing and executing instruction, assessment, and performance evaluation systems.
- Strategic planning, organizing, and analyzing instructional development activities desired.
- Experience supporting the military is desired.

The Unit Training Management Program, Staff Lead will provide part-time support to the Second Marine Expeditionary Forces, Second Intelligence Battalion ensuring all Intelligence Marines are trained to the highest standards of readiness prior to worldwide deployment in Joint Operating Environments
You will collaborate with active-duty Marines, Sailors, and other service members internal and external to the organization
The Unit Training Management Program, Staff Lead will aid the Battalion Operations and Training team using the Agile program management approach and the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE) instructional design model
This SME will coordinate with the Operations Officer and Chief as well as the Training Chief, managers, analysts, curriculum development experts, and instructors to consistently align training and education program materials and methods with stated objectives
The SME conducts review of course and program elements and makes recommendations and adjustments as applicable
The SME works with the Quality Assurance designs to ensure that improved methods and processes follow published regulations
