    Regional Portfolio Manager

    The Regional Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing a group of assets as assigned by FPI Management. This individual enforces all FPI Management policies, procedures and internal operations. The role requires ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, contracts, and reporting.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Ensure Equal Housing Opportunity/Affirmative Fair Housing laws compliance
    • Follow proper LIHTC and/or Section 8 policies and procedures
    • Monitor LIHTC Application and Annual Recertification processes
    • Conduct file reviews, physical inspections, and interact with regulatory agencies
    • Prepare annual operating budgets for submission to Clients and Properties
    • Manage project budgets and marketing to maintain awareness of current financial status
    • Complete monthly/quarterly Property Manager Checklist on-time
    • Make rent and concession recommendations based on market conditions and availability
    • Maintain required forms, leases, documents, resident certifications, invoices, and necessary posters and signs
    • Review vacancies, availability dates, and turn-over rates
    • Review operating statements, budget and variance reports, check registers, delinquency reports, and other financial reports

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years' experience with affordable housing programs including LIHTC, HUD programs, USDA-Rural Development, HCD, HOME Funds and Bonds
    • Affordable Housing Accreditation (HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO, etc.) or other applicable designations
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role within a Property Management environment
    • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; College degree in a relatable field preferred
    • Certification or designation from an accredited organization preferred
    • Valid Real Estate Salesperson License (requirement varies by state)
    • Valid Driver's License, good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance, and operable vehicle meeting FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy
    • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
