For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Lead Software Engineer.

/strong We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level web applications for federal agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MVC, SQL Server, and modern front-end frameworks, with a proven track record of delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions in Agile environments.

/ppstrongKey Responsibilities:

/strong/pulliLead development and maintenance of MVC web applications (.NET Framework 4.7) for federal clients, including the FBI, Department of Energy, and Department of Defense./liliDesign and implement features such as data import/export, dashboards, reporting tools, and service monitoring./liliMigrate legacy systems and services to modern architectures using , web services, and PowerShell./liliDevelop and optimize SQL Server stored procedures, views, and SSIS packages./liliBuild and maintain front-end components using JavaScript, jQuery, and Telerik Kendo UI Framework; familiarity with Bootstrap is a plus./liliParticipate in Agile Scrum two-week sprints, including code reviews, pair programming, and design sessions./liliCollaborate with customers to refine requirements and deliver secure solutions./liliSupport deployment processes and automation on secure networks, including preparation for classified environments./liliProvide occasional customer support and contribute to knowledge sharing through presentations and mentoring.

/strong/p ulliStrong proficiency in (C#) and MVC architecture (.NET Framework 4.7)./liliExpertise in Microsoft SQL Server (CRUD operations, stored procedures, query optimization)./liliExperience with Entity Framework as ORM./liliFront-end development with JavaScript, jQuery, and Telerik Kendo UI Framework; familiarity with Bootstrap./liliVersion control using Git (GitLab experience is a plus).

The targeted base salary range for this role is $117,000-$177,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
