Job Description

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Qualification

5–9+ years of Scrum Master experience within enterprise technology teams.
Proven experience in Banking or Financial Services IT delivery.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
Experience working in cloud, AI, big data, or data-driven technology environments (conceptual knowledge required).
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Agile certification (CSM, PSM) preferred; PMP is a plus.

Senior Scrum Master – Finance Technology & AI

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead agile teams delivering innovative technology solutions within the financial services sector, with a strong focus on AI and machine learning initiatives.

This role plays a critical part in driving delivery excellence, fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring successful execution of complex IT programs.

You will guide cross-functional teams through agile best practices while collaborating closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and technology leaders in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead multiple cross-functional agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and best practices.
Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to drive transparency and accountability.
Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and delivery timelines.
Identify risks, remove impediments, and proactively escalate issues when necessary.
Track team performance metrics and leverage data-driven insights to improve delivery outcomes.
Support backlog grooming and ensure work is well-defined and prioritized.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support agile transformation efforts.
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones clearly to senior leadership.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture within a regulated financial environment.
