Sr. Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst

Locations: Raleigh-NC, Charlotte-NC, Atlanta-GA, USA

This is a hybrid model position and candidate are expected to work from office/ client location 2 days in a week.

We are looking for Sr. Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.

Work Authorization:

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States, without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

Roles and Responsibilities:

The role is responsible for monitoring, triaging, and escalating security events properly in any technology environment.

This role will evaluate data collected from a variety of cyber defense tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS alerts, firewalls, network traffic logs, cloud platforms, and SOAR solutions) to analyze events that occur within their environments for the purposes of mitigating threats in both structured and unstructured situations.

Academic or Professional exposure to cyber operations, incident response, computer networking, computer science, etc.
